NHDC strongly believes that each individual and family unit regardless of his or her income deserves an equal opportunity to live in decent, affordable housing. To address the needs of the low to middle-income families throughout the city of Gainesville and surrounding counties, NHDC has initiated housing development and rental property services to these households. In addition, NHDC also provides helpful tools including budget and financial counseling, and homebuyer education for first-time homebuyers. NHDC also provides Mortgage delinquency counseling for those households experiencing financial difficulties.
